UK - England to Wales

Cheddar Gorge is 122m deep and 3 miles long so is England's largest gorge. We didn't realise that you can take the National Trust walking track for free and do the entire 8km circuit up one side of the gorge and back the other (or just part of the track). Instead we got channelled by signs into paying to access the gorge via a set of privately owned stairs to a lookout which then joins the free walking track. A bit of a catch!
